We fit each system to how your business already runs, including the software you already pay for. AI is one of the tools we use. It isn’t the point.

Signtech the Signmasters is a Christchurch signage manufacturer that works throughout New Zealand. Its owners asked whether AI could draft quotes for their estimators to review. Before building anything, we tested the idea on their own past jobs and told them plainly what it could and couldn’t do.

Substrate has three co-founders. Dr Matt Walley leads the company and is usually the first person you’ll talk to. Two technical co-founders design, build and run the systems, with about 35 years of combined engineering experience.
